I finally cut out all butter and eggs (already stopped eating all other “fuss-culprits” — dairy, nuts, gluten, soy, onions, garlic, tomatoes, corn, etc.) and suddenly our little girl is back to her smiley self. No more crying sessions, no more spit up, no more tummy troubles. We are all feeling so much better. Now we just need to catch up on our sleep (ha!). Slowly we will reintroduce foods into my diet and we’ll see what she tolerates. Luckily, most babies have similar reactions to these foods, so she may tolerate some or all of them in the future. (knock on wood)
Here is our sweetie pie yesterday, well-rested, fed, and full of smiles:
Amazing video! I love being able to see her move and smile! You can just see her little personality as she interacts with you–it’s so much fun to see her “in action” with Mama.
so glad to hear she’s feeling better. my daughter has soooo many tummy problems when she was little and still does on occasion. I’ll keep all these things in mind when I feed her from now on.
So adorable! I think she looks like her daddy.
Alexis: I was so excited to get a video where you can see her smiling. I especially like the part where she suddenly sees the camera and gets all serious. She is distracted and back to smiling at Mama by the end though!
Rachel: It’s amazing how what you put in your body really impacts how you feel. With a little baby, it’s just magnified!
Susan: I agree! I think she looks just like David.
