What are some of your holiday favorites?
John Denver & the Muppets, definitely! Chanticleer when they go traditional; Anuna for the interesting sound despite the consistently slow tempo (try “O Holy Night”); Celtic Woman for a light and Irish-infused sound (go for “Ding Dong Merrily on High” as an example); Gospel Christmas Songs by Cedarmont Kids (kids’ choir with kid soloists and a gospel-style background beat). Tanja Solnik sings in Yiddish, and though she isn’t specifically singing holiday songs, her music is very peaceful. Enjoy!
You have got to get December by George Winston! It is absolutely our favorite album and artist, and we listen to it all year round.
