In a family of readers, bookmarks are always in short supply.
These colorful, inexpensive bookmarks took just a moment to make using supplies we had on hand: ribbon remnants and paper clips.
Ta da! I love a quick organization-related project, don’t you?
Now these are a GREAT idea! Regular bookmarks can fall out in a backpack or handbag, and those sticky tags always wear out after a few uses. Love that these paper-clip ones are endlessly reusable (and of course, endlessly customizable with colorful ribbon galore)!
Yes! I didn’t think about the will-not-fall-out added benefit until after we made them and it’s AWESOME! Makes a big difference for our little girl who carries her books everywhere, frequently upsidedown ’cause it’s more fun that way. ;)
What a great idea – simple and effective!
