Did you know that Marvel has published a graphic novel version
As someone who devours all things Jane Austen, I was thrilled to hear about this. I’m all about bringing nineteenth century literature to the masses.
My copy arrived this morning. I can’t wait to dive right in. Doesn’t Caroline Bingley (above) look deliciously awful?! I abhor Mr. Collins already too:

neither comic books nor jane austen are my thing, but this is a brilliant idea! i hope it works out for them (marvel and those classic literature buffs)!
Though I admit I’m a snob about original versions, I did come to appreciate graphic novels when I taught dyslexic students. Such a wonderful and visual way to introduce working readers to great books. I <3 Jane Austin! I just reserved this at the public library. Thanks for posting!
